"A/B testing (AKA- Split Testing) is a way to compare two versions of something to figure out which performs better."

The way to perform an A/B test is to show two sets of your audience (assigned at random) different versions of your service, product, graphic, ad copy, etc to determine which one helped you reach your goal.
